Ballston Spa Youth Lacrosse

Grade 7-8 Teams

• Coach Ohnsman (Varsity Assistant) will be running our 7/8 Youth Team.

• Our 7/8 Youth Team is intended for players who are new to the sport and those who seek more game playing time on the modified team.​

• We will have 1-2 skill practices in the evening during the spring each week.

• Modified and non-modified players are eligible to compete for this team.  Our focus will be to instruct those new to the sport and develop players for the modified team who are currently playing.

Ballston Spa 7/8 Travel & Tournament Team​​

• This spring & summer we will be having tryouts and selecting a travel team to play in 4 tournaments in the spring and summer.  

• This will be a step up in competition & committment from our rec league teams.  Tournaments we will participate in will be:

  • Saturday, May 19th Armed Forces Day Tournament (Guilderland, NY)

  • Saturday, June 2nd Equinox Lacrosse Shootout (Manchester, VT)​

  • June 29th-July 1st Saratoga Shootout (Saratoga Springs, NY)

  • Saturday, July 7th 1812 Shootout (Sackets Harbor, NY)

• Tryouts will be in mid-April and will be posted here when fields are cleared for use.
